1. Information we handle
Depending on the features you use, we handle:
- Account information: email address, display name, profile details, authentication information, and identifiers received when you choose a third-party sign-in provider.
- Service activity: subscription and payment status, usage and credit records, feature requests, and content you submit, including AI prompts, selected context, uploads, and support messages.
- Technical information: IP address, browser or application version, operating system, request times, requested resources, and diagnostic or security events.
Payment providers handle payment details through their checkout and billing interfaces. Avoid including passwords, payment details, or unrelated sensitive information in prompts, uploads, and support reports.
2. How we use information
We use information to authenticate accounts; deliver requested modding, AI, download, and account features; administer purchases and usage limits; respond to support requests; diagnose failures; protect the service against abuse; and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this processing relies on providing the service you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing it, legal obligations, or consent where required. We do not sell personal information.
3. Installer, updater, and local files
The installer and background updater contact our download servers to check release metadata and download application and updater files. As with other web requests, the hosting and delivery providers receive network information such as your IP address, request time, client information, and requested download.
Updater registration stores the installation location and installed release hash in the Windows registry on your computer. Setup records installation state and diagnostic logs locally. Removing an installation unregisters it from the updater. Local files or diagnostic reports you choose to send to support are handled as support information.
When you use connected AI or cloud features, the content and context submitted for those features are processed by the relevant service and providers. Review what you submit before sending private files or game data.
4. Providers and other disclosures
We use providers for hosting, content delivery, authentication, payments, security, and AI processing. Information needed for the feature or operation is handled by those providers. If you choose an external sign-in or payment service, its own privacy policy also applies.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, with your permission, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable safeguards. Processing may take place outside your country; applicable transfer requirements must still be respected.
5. Cookies and browser storage
The website uses browser storage and cookies for functions such as keeping you signed in, securing account access, and remembering preferences. Clearing or blocking them can sign you out or prevent some features from working.
Our service providers may also use storage for the features you request, such as sign-in, payment, or abuse prevention. Where optional tracking requires consent, we will provide the required choice before enabling it.
6. Retention and security
We retain information according to the purpose it serves: account and purchase records needed to operate your account, content needed for requested features, support history needed to resolve issues, and diagnostic or security records needed to investigate failures and abuse. Legal, accounting, dispute, backup, and security requirements can require longer retention.
We use access controls and other technical safeguards to protect information, but cannot guarantee absolute security. Uninstalling the app does not by itself delete an online account or service records. Contact support to request account or personal-data deletion; records that must be retained remain subject to applicable law.
7. Your choices and rights
You can manage available profile and subscription settings in your account, control browser storage through your browser, stop submitting content to connected features, and uninstall the application.
Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information; restrict processing; object to processing, including processing based on legitimate interests; or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.
Use our Contact support to make a private request. We may need to verify your identity. Do not post sensitive account information in public support channels.
8. Children
Hexinton is not directed to children under 13 or below a higher minimum age required locally. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of these requirements, contact support so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
9. Changes and contact
We update this page when our practices change and provide additional notice of material changes where required. The date above identifies this version.
